Poem
You kissed me beneath
the Simon Bolivar statue, green
and blue against black bronze.
“I wanted to kiss you in daylight,”
you said, sun and breath against
rosy cheeks, your words wet and
warm in my mouth.
the Simon Bolivar statue, green
and blue against black bronze.
“I wanted to kiss you in daylight,”
you said, sun and breath against
rosy cheeks, your words wet and
warm in my mouth.
